Professor Mohamed Abdul Satar Othman

Born in Egypt, he studied at the Islamic Archeology Department, College of Arts, Cairo University where he graduated with a BA in 1973. He was awarded a Master's in 1977 by the College of Archeology at Cairo University, followed by a PhD from the College of Arts, Asyout University, in 1980. He has lectured at the College of Arts, University of Suhag, and King Saud University in Riyadh. Currently, he is professor of Archeology and Islamic Arts at Suhag University. He has published 14 books and 45 papers on Islamic Architecture and has received many prizes for his works.
