Islamic Arts Centre
Islamic Arts Centre
The Islamic Arts Centre, based in South London, provides a focal point to encourage dialogue between East and West - bringing together like-minded people passionate in the promotion of Islamic arts, culture and heritage - and their relevance in our lives today and in the future.

The centre focuses on providing a base for lectures, round table discussions and debates, seminars and workshops - all led by academics and specialists in their own fields.

The whole ethos is to foster a platform for further research across all Islamic art forms: a forum that will urge researchers to present more papers and studies and to increase the number of these projects.

The Islamic Arts Centre also works to attract funding for such research projects to ensure that centuries of traditional skills and craftsmanship are not lost forever but shared with the world, being revitalised for future generations to understand and enjoy.
